On 14-17 May, a staff member of Aigine CRC, Cholponai U-G, participated in a training workshop on Intangible Cultural Heritage of Silk Road: Identifying and Inventorying In Kyrgyzstan. Training participants learned about the concept and techniques of identifying and inventorying ICH elements in minute details, as well as received hands-on experience on ways of photo and video documentation. Aigine CRC shared its own experience on inventorying sacred sites and rituals relating to pilgrimage practices. The group members agreed to continue working together and undertaking activities in the field of safeguarding ICH in Kyrgyzstan. The workshop was organized and conducted by the UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office.
