Aigine CRC has begun implementing the project “New Expressions and Shapes of Ancient Kyrgyz Songs.” This initiative will help creative young people hear and feel the strength of our ancestral song heritage anew. The project brings together two strands of work. An important work is coming to an end — the creation of the Central Asian Petroglyphs Database. Behind this result are months of joint work, field research, discussions, verification, and trust. As a result, the database now includes 84 rock art complexes across the region: 28 in Kazakhstan, 14 in Uzbekistan, 4 in Tajikistan, 2 in Turkmenistan, 36 in Kyrgyzstan.
