December 1-st in the main hall of the second campus of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, Aygyne ICH Center held the presentation of the “Blessing of Seven Mothers” project as part of the global “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” campaign. The event opened with a dance performance by two artists of the Opera and Ballet Theatre — Sadyrkulov Atabek and Sultakaeva Meerim. Their movements conveyed the atmosphere of violence and the tension surrounding this issue. The music for the performance was composed by Balasagyn Musaev. After the dance, the host, Shaakan Toktogul, addressed the audience and emphasized that the aim of the project is to draw public attention to violence against women and children. The main part of the event took the form of an open discussion. Cultural specialists, psychologists, and public figures participated, examining the root causes of violence, the importance of speaking openly about the issue, and the need for greater youth engagement. They also answered questions from the audience. At the end of the event, participants watched the short film Bata, produced within the framework of the project. In the closing remarks, gratitude was expressed to all attendees, along with a call to continue supporting one another and maintaining open conversations on this important topic.
