As part of the partnership project between the Aigine Cultural Research Center and the “Suuchular” initiative group on the impact of climate change on intangible cultural heritage, events were held to verify the collected data on apricot cultivation in the Batken region based on field research conducted on June 11 and 12. Local researchers who collected the data in the Batken region and community representatives who provided information shared their experiences, thoroughly discussed the proposed conclusions, and made suggestions. During the work, a visit to the apricot orchard and a trip to the Toktolugul Oluy mausoleum were organized. The project leader is Aibek Samakov, with local researchers Nazgul Aldasheva and Aigul Jamalidinova. As a result of the research, recommendations on the impact of climate change on intangible cultural heritage and adaptation measures will be developed.
