“Arysh-Kench” in collaboration with the Aigine Cultural Research Center has initiated the project “Strengthening the Indigenous Identity of Kyrgyz People through Familiarization with Other Indigenous Cultures.”
As part of this project, the Kyrgyz translation of Apela Colorado’s book “Woman Between the Worlds” will be published. One of the project’s goals is to understand and reinforce the indigenous identity of the people of Kyrgyzstan by familiarizing them with the spiritual culture of indigenous peoples, as described in the book.
“In the face of the current unimaginable and frightening planetary changes, we are forced to choose: either to live in harmony with the forces of nature or to face extinction as a human race. I lost both my ancestors – Oneida and French Gaul – in this book ‘Woman Between the Worlds’ in your hands, I will travel to the past to introduce future generations to the story of the creation of the Earth. My experience is presented in chronological order and offered to readers as an example or guide” (Apela Colorado).
