On April 7, the Aigine CRC team together with the Center’s experts visited Almaty and met with a unique artist Sanzhar Zhubanov, who creates modern petroglyphs – rock paintings.
During the meeting, the artist shared his personal story of the inner birth of ancient art in his own life, and also shared his thoughts about the culture coming from our ancestors. Today, Sanzhar Zhubanov is the only master in Central Asia who continues the ancient art and creates rock paintings with his own hands.
