📸 Photography Training for Future Researchers: On January 17, a training session on the basics of photography and visual content creation was held at the office of the Aigine Cultural Research Center. Professional photographer Malik Alymkulov shared his expertise and secrets. Participants learned how to properly compose shots, utilize lighting, and choose the right equipment for high-quality photography. These skills will be invaluable for documenting crafts and artisanal practices across the country. The project is supported by UNESCO and ICHCAP – the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region.

📘 Publication of a Practical Guide on Climate Change Impact: As part of a joint project between Aigine and the initiative group “Suuchular,” led by Aybek Samakov, a practical guide has been published. It focuses on the impact of climate change on intangible cultural heritage and adaptation measures. The materials are based on field research conducted in the Naryn, Batken, and Issyk-Kul regions, covering topics such as traditional veterinary practices in Naryn, apricot cultivation in Batken, and pilgrimages to sacred sites in Issyk-Kul.
