📑 Working Meetings: On June 24th in Paris, the summer meeting of the Evaluation Body of the Intergovernmental Committee, which operates under the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage, began. The session is attended by 12 experts representing cultures from around the world. The Aigine CRC was elected as a member of the Evaluation Committee in 2022 from non-governmental organizations of the Pacific and Asian regions.

📊 Creation of Infographics: As part of the project “Digital Journey into the World of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Kyrgyzstan,” on June 22nd, filming of video infographics began, revealing the key concepts of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage. This video infographic will be developed in Kyrgyz and Russian languages across seven areas.

⛰️ Field Trip: From June 25th to 28th, the Aigine CRC team conducted a field trip to the historical and cultural complex of petroglyphs located in the area known as Jol-Chyrak and Kaldyrama-Boz Bee, also called Murdash-Bashy. During the trip, the Aigine CRC team, together with Saltnat Alisher kyzy, an archaeologist from Osh State University, documented a number of stones, determined the coordinates and boundaries of the complex to clarify the upcoming online map of the complex. As part of the project and to preserve the memory of this place, the Aigine CRC team is preparing to release an online map with archaeological descriptions and traditional interpretations of the stone carvings, as well as an animated motion video film with a traditional interpretation of the origin of the Murdash complex.
