🙋🏻‍♀️ Meetings on violence against women: On October 31, a series of meetings and conversations on violence against women took place. The meetings were attended by journalists, social activists and cultural workers. The following issues were discussed with the meeting participants:
– In your opinion, what are the reasons for the increase in violence against women in society?
– Is it possible to assess the circumstances that led to the gender gap between men and women?
– What actions can we take together to help prevent violence against women?

🧫 “Strengthening the indigenous characteristics of the people of Kyrgyzstan through familiarization with other indigenous cultures”: “Arysh-Kench” NGO in cooperation with Aigine CRC has launched the project “Strengthening the indigenous characteristics of the people of Kyrgyzstan through familiarization with other local cultures”. As part of the project, a Kyrgyz translation of Apela Colorado’s book “Women Between Worlds” will be published. One of the goals of the project is to understand and strengthen the indigenous identity of the people of Kyrgyzstan through familiarization with the spiritual culture of the Native American peoples described in the book.

🌒 Publication on Kyrgyz traditional dream interpretation: A publication on Kyrgyz traditional dream interpretation is being prepared by the Aigine CRC team. In addition to the cards with the interpretation of dreams, the publication will contain several other elements – incense, music, etc. The presentation of the publication will take place in the fall of 2023.
