Today, November 10, the Aigine CRC team held the final workshop under the project ““Sustainable Research Data Collection for ICH Safeguarding in the Asia-Pacific Region”” as a regional partner of the International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region(IRCI)
The purpose of the workshop was to sum up and analyze a two-year project to collect research materials on ICH for the IRCI database.
The workshop was attended by National Counterparts who, during the second year of the project, were involved in the collection and description of research materials for the database.
The participants of the workshop were welcomed by the General Director of IRCI Mr. Wataru Iwamoto through a video message.
Project coordinator Aiza Abdyrakhmanova made a presentation on the results of the project. The presentation was followed by a discussion of the results of the project. Each of the National Counterparts shared their experience of participating in the formation and description of materials for the database. National Counterparts spoke about the difficulties in finding and analyzing the necessary sources, shared their opinion on existing trends in the areas they studied.
