On January  21, 2022 Aigine CRC took part in the International Regional Workshop within the framework of the project ” “Sustainable Research Data Collection for ICH Safeguarding in the Asia-Pacific Region” as a regional partner of the International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific region (IRCI).

The participants of the workshop welcomed the Director-General of IRCI Mr. IWAMOTO Wataru. Regional partners from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand also took part in the workshop.

On behalf of Aigine CRC, Aiza Abdyrakhmanova took part in the meeting, presenting brief information on the implementation of the 1st phase of the Regional project in Kyrgyzstan.

In the discussion session, the partners discussed how to make the IRCI database more flexible and usable by different stakeholders.
