Aigine CRC participates in the activities of the Working Groups (WG) initiated by the Forum of accredited NGO under the 2003 Convention of UNESCO.
On June 18 on-line meeting of the WG for more balanced geographical representation of accredited NGOs took place. The aim of the WG is more balanced representation of NGOs working in the field of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in the Forum through identification of the imbalance reasons and follow-up work.
Aigine CRC made a presentation on formal and informal groups working in the field of ICH in the country, noted the key contribution of the Christensen Foundation (USA) to the quantitative growth and good quality of NGOs working in the field of culture and analyzed a number of reasons why successful ICH NGOs do not have an accreditation under the Convention 2003.
