Within the framework of the project “Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and the Transformation of Cultural Codes”, Aigine CRC supported the initiative of the Uyghur diaspora living in the city of Karakol to document elements of their cultural heritage. Certification of a new complex of petroglyphs
In 2021, Aigine CRC team, on the initiative of Manas epic chanter Tilek Asanov, together with the residents of Ak-Bulun village of the Issyk-Kul region, explored petroglyphs located in the mountains near Ak-Bulun. As it turned out, this complex was not known to specialists, was not documented and was not included in the registers of the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.
