The theme of the colloquium was \u00abReligious Revivals and Artistic Renaissance in Central Asia and the Himalayan Region \u2013 Past and Present\u00bb.<br \/> Gulnara Aitpaeva presented the paper \u201cSacred Geography of Kyrgyzstan: linking spirituality with art&#8221;. Sacred geography is an assembly and networks of the sacred sites. The author assumes that Sacred Geography is the domain, where socially-oriented spirituality and socially-committed art are worked out.
