This manual was developed and tested in the framework of the \u201cTransmitting peace-keeping traditions to the youth\u201d project. This project was implemented by Aigine CRC in 2012 and had been supported by the Small Grants Program of the US Embassy in Bishkek.<\/p>\n

The final version the manual on the traditional ways of conflict prevention and resolution consists of 9 chapters:<\/p>\n

  5. Match-making as a mechanism for reconciliation<\/li>\n
  6. Promotion of peace by arts and artists in traditional societies<\/li>\n
  7. Mechanisms for conflict resolution in Islam<\/li>\n
  8. The role of sacred sites in peace-keeping<\/li>\n
  9. The concept of collective responsibility<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
