\ud83c\udfd4\ufe0f Field Trip: On May 7, the Aigine team completed an expedition that began in the village of K\u00f6k-Jar (Nookat District, Osh Region). The goal was to survey a unique cluster of petroglyphs in the Aravan District, near the border with Uzbekistan \u2014 a site that had not been previously studied. Together with archaeologist Saltanat Alisher kyzy, the team documented the rock images, which will soon be thoroughly described and interpreted, including traditional explanations. These materials will become part of a forthcoming Central Asian petroglyphs database \u2014 a resource that will bring together information on the region\u2019s rock art for both scientific and cultural communities.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udc34 Sulayman-Too: On May 8, the Aigine team ascended Sulayman-Too mountain to observe and document its petroglyphs, including the famous “Davan Horse.” These images, studied by Kyrgyz archaeologists, remain powerful evidence of the spiritual and artistic lives of the ancient peoples who once inhabited the area.<\/p>\n
\ud83c\udf00 Women\u2019s Blessings: Craftswoman Gulmira Kutueva completed the coding of women\u2019s bata<\/em> \u2014 blessings shared from women to women across the country. The texts were then edited and shaped poetically by writer Kyial Tazhiyeva. These blessings support freedom of expression, the right to education, and the choice of \u201cnon-traditional\u201d occupations.
