<\/p>\n\u26f0\ufe0f On April 29 and 30, experts from the Aigine Cultural Research Center (CRC) \u2013 Jumagazy Sadyr uulu, Chynar Seidakmatova, Senior Project Coordinator Cholponai Usubalieva-Grishchuk, and Project Coordinator Ayza Abdyrahmanova \u2013 participated in a conference organized by the University of Central Asia titled “HISTORY OF CENTRAL ASIA CARVED IN STONE: STUDY, PRESERVATION, AND INTERPRETATION OF PETROGLYPHS.” On April 29, the Aigine CRC team presented reports on the documentation of petroglyphs and the multimedia results of studies on traditional knowledge related to Kyrgyzstan’s petroglyphs. At the end of their presentations, the Aigine CRC team showcased two motion videos created based on traditional interpretations of Kyrgyzstan’s rock art. The first day of the conference was held at the Frunze Museum. On April 30, the second day of the conference took place at the Gapara Aitiev Museum of Fine Arts, featuring a tour of the exhibition “Legend of the Stones: Batken Petroglyphs Through the Ages” by artist Nurperi Orunbaeva and photographer Sania Nurova. The Aigine CRC team extends their gratitude to the University of Central Asia for organizing this conference and inviting the Aigine CRC team to participate.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfb6 Search for Ko\u04a3ur – the “Kyrgyz” sound: The initiative group of the project “Bringing Ko\u04a3ur \u04aen to the Sound of the Kyrgyz Orchestra,” musicians Cholpon Turumbaeva, Rysbek Junushov, Zalina Kasymova, and traditional musical instrument maker Marat Berikbaev, visited the ELTR television channel and shared their vision and experience in studying and reconstructing “ko\u04a3ur \u04afn,” which they understand as the “primordial Kyrgyz sound.” The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Aigine CRC.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcd1 Work on the informational database of ICH elements: The “Digital Journey into the World of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Kyrgyz Republic” project continues to actively collect, analyze, and verify data on elements of the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). Currently, the working group is gathering relevant photo and video materials to illustrate the ICH elements. As part of the project planning, the development of a video infographic dedicated to the main concepts and principles of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage is also planned.<\/p>\n
