The first Ceremony of the Sacred Fire<\/span><\/p>\n

Venue: Memorial complex \u201cAta-Beyit\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In the summer of 2007, Zhenish Kudakeev, Sonunbubu Sooronbaeva and Zhaparkul Raimkulov brought up the idea of a fire ceremony. Apela Kolorado took on the responsibility for realizing and developing this idea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Main ideas of the initiative: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All over the world, spiritual practices and healings are conducted. The main reason is the general concern over the fate of our planet. The time that the ancient sages have predicted has now arrived. According to the Mayan Calendar, 2012 marks a change in epochs. While this change is a natural change for Earth, traditional wisdom says that humanity is waiting for a collapse if we do not change our attitudes towards life. That is why the ceremony of the Holy Fire will be the path to help us remember our connection to the global community and the Earth, and will help change the world.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Invited to the ceremony were elders and guardians from the Issyk-Kul, Osh, Talas and Chuy regions, as well as from Bishkek. These traditional practices, along with those of Islam, were to play a big role in the fire ceremony on March 21, where the ceremony would not only take place in Kyrgyzstan, but also in other parts of the world. The ceremony in February was also attended by representatives of NGOs and health centers that practice eastern medicine. The date of the ceremony has symbolic meaning, since, according to the Chinese calendar, February 7 is the New Year, and the number 7 is also a sacred number for the Kyrgyz people. <\/span><\/p>\n

All of the participants were invited to the office of Aigine CRC at 10 pm. While the participants were gathering in the office, the employees of Aigine showed a documentary featuring traditional practitioners. At the end, the employees of the center briefly explained the meaning and purpose of the ceremony and distributed calendars to all participants. Also invited to the ceremony was Bubura Kydyralieva, witness to the historical events commemorated with the memorial monument Ata-Beyit. She told her life story, such as the place where Kyrgyz intellectuals were buried alive, which was recovered with her help and initiative.      <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
