The purpose of the group is to understand, address and overcome the issue of ongoing geographical imbalance of the NGO representation in the ICH NGO Forum and the UNESCO 2003 Convention by creating capacity building materials and practical information for the NGOs in the underrepresented countries.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Structure-wise, there are several thematic blocks of the group meetings &#8211; presentations from different geographical regions on current realities\/difficulties and opportunities of NGOs; on current activities of the group and plans for their implementation; and general discussion and feedback.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">At today&#8217;s meeting, the accredited NGO Abaim from Mauritius delivered an informative presentation on the situation of NGOs in their country and in the region as a whole, while Aigine CRC, as chair, prepared and presented a draft outreach plan for reaching out to underrepresented regions and countries.
