Since the article was prepared given certain requirements of the symposium organizers, it is of rather informative and descriptive. Strict limitation of the volume of paper allowed the inclusion of only a few fragments of analyses. The article prepared for the symposium is the second article in a series of materials Aigine RC has prepared for publication (the first one was published in 2004 in the Academic Review of the American University-Central Asia).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; line-height: 20px; text-align: justify;\">The Russian version of the article \u201cThe Phenomenon of Sacred Sites in Kyrgyzstan: Interweaving of Mythology and Reality\u201d was published in \u201cKut Bilim\u201d newspaper of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education in May 2005.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; line-height: 20px; text-align: justify;\">The Power Point presentation made in Japan was the first event where main results of the first half-year of Aigine RC\u2019s project were presented. Besides, this presentation was also important in terms of the professional development of the author.
