Social and political factors of the uprising.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Inomdjon Mamadaliev. The social conflict of 1916 in Khujand as a systemic crisis (the relationship of power and people).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Abstract: The article examines all the events having the character of a social conflict (1871-1916), identifies the main precursors, causes and nature of social conflicts (so-called uprising). But the important point is that the new materials found in the archives shed a light to some forgotten or ignored moments that are not noted in histories. In addition, based on the national concept of history writing, a new approach to the colonial period, to the royal colonial policy in relation to Central Asia, is proposed.
