The uprisings of 1916 in the lower reaches of the Amudarya: characteristic and specifics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Abstract: In both uprisings, in Khiva and in the Amudarya part, the women\u2019s issue was the impetus for the bloody events of 1916 in the history of the peoples of the lower reaches of the Amudarya. Participation of native women became a characteristic feature of the uprising in the right-bank of the river.
