Manas- <\/strong>is the central positive character of the first section of the Manas<\/em> epic. Mazar(sacred site) –<\/strong> In Kyrgyzstan, a sacred site is usually called a \u201cMazar.\u201d\u00a0\u201cMazar\u201d is a word from the Arabic, which means \u201cplace which is visited.\u201d\u00a0It is an object of pilgrimage, usually the grave of a Muslim saint or oluya (I, 151). Later, a more specific notion of Mazar as the \u201cplace of shahid\u2019s burial\u201d appeared. Over time the word came to be used to designate any place with a sacred character.\u00a0\u00a0 (Gulnara A. Aitpaeva, 2006).<\/p>\n

Moldo- <\/strong>aliterate, knowledgeable person; mullah.<\/p>\n

Molo tash<\/strong> \u2013 means a stone image put upon graves in the old times. Usually in the form of a smiling, bearded man with a cup in the hands put together at the chest.<\/p>\n
