Thus, Aigine CRC is invited as a guest speaker to make a presentation on the project implementation process and results within the framework of an online workshop on on the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage organized by ICCROM/Sharjah at the request of the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Culture. The workshop is prepared and delivered by Cécile Duvelle and Séverine Cachat, UNESCO facilitators and consultants.

Although the ICH communities’ and Aigine CRC’s efforts in inventorying 36 pilgrimage practices and 1,202 sacred sites is undeniable, unfortunately, these ICH elements haven’t still been inscribed in the state ICH registry.
