On December 6, a meeting of Aigine CRC team and partners with representatives of UN-Women in the Kyrgyz Republic took place. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the concept of the closing ceremony of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. The concept was proposed by Aigine CRC and is based on the belief that cultural heritage and its bearers should be involved in active action against violence.
One of the key questions that interested Ulziyisuren Zhamsran, head of UN-Women in the Kyrgyz Republic: what rhetoric, mechanisms and tools can be effective among the so-called “traditional” groups and rural communities.
