On November 25, the Aigine CRC team held the workshop within the framework of the project “Sustainable Research Data Collection for ICH Safeguarding in the Asia-Pacific Region” The participants of the workshop  were welcomed by the Director-General of IRCI Mr. Wataru Iwamoto. During the meeting, potential partners got acquainted with the activities of the IRCI Center – UNESCO Category 2 Center, learned about plans to develop the existing database of the center.

Following the IRCI presentation at the Q&A session, the workshop participants discussed strategic issues related to the development of the ICH database. After the session with IRCI, potential regional partners got acquainted with the form for entering materials into the database. Also during the practical session, potential partners tried to include one of the material into the database.

In the final part of the workshop, organizational issues were discussed: the rules of partnership, the formation of a block of materials, reporting.
