First organizational meeting on the project: On September 13, the first meeting on “Bringing konur үn to the sound of the Kyrgyz orchestra” was held at the Aiginė CRC office. The goal of this project is to explore ways of extracting and preserving the konur sound (an indigenous Kyrgyz sound), as well as ways to bring it into the sound of the orchestra. At the last meeting, the initiator of the idea, orchestra specialist Cholpon Turumbaeva and the initiative group together with representatives of Aiguine discussed the tasks and activities of the project.

Development of animated videos about the stories on the petroglyphs: Teams from Aigine and Tentek continue to work together to develop animated videos about the history of Kyrgyz people depicted on the petroglyphs, as well as to reveal the cultural meanings of the images of deer and mountain goats and their horns. The development of illustrations and voice-over narration is being finalized. The presentation of the videos is scheduled for fall 2023.

Presentation of the results of the project “Meeting Cultural Heritage with Modern Technologies”: teams of Soltek and Aigine are completing the project “Meeting Cultural Heritage with Modern Technologies”. All project results – a digital catalog on women’s traditional Kyrgyz meditative practices and 2 cartoons on legends of sacred places will be presented on September 24.
