Today, on November 28 in Rabat, Morocco began the meeting of the 17th annual Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The Aigine CRC team continues to take part in the Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations, which takes place at the meeting of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee.

Today, the Forum hosted a meeting of the Working Group on the balanced representation of NGOs accredited under 2003 Convention, which is headed by the Aigine’s senior project coordinator – Cholponai U-G. At the meeting, the group presented the interim results of their work and shared their plans for the future. There were also presentations of candidates for the Executive Body of the NGO Forum. Cholponai U-G presented her candidacy. Voting for candidates will begin today and will last until Wednesday – November 30.
