Weekly review of Aigine CRC Activities
🏔️ Field Trip: On May 7, the Aigine team completed an expedition that began in the village of Kök-Jar (Nookat District, Osh Region). The goal was to survey a unique cluster of petroglyphs in the Aravan District, near the border with Uzbekistan — a site that had not been previously studied. Together with archaeologist Saltanat Alisher kyzy, the team documented the rock images, which will soon be thoroughly described and interpreted, including traditional explanations.
