      🏞️ Local Research: In early October, the Aigine CRC team conducted training sessions for students in the villages of Kyzyl-Bulak, Uchkun, and Okhna in Kadamjay District, Batken Region. These training sessions were held as part of the “Great Mountains” project, where students are tasked with conducting research in their villages on topics such as a) legends, b) medicinal herbs, c) petroglyphs, d) notable women, e) Indigenous Kyrgyzstan, and f) the year 1916.       👩🏻‍💻 Work Meetings: From October 14 to 17, the Aigine team held work meetings in Talas Region with the custodians of koshok, the art of women’s lamentation. We met with 95-year-old Saadabubu Apa, 93-year-old Kalemkash Apa, 81-year-old Farida Apa, and 80-year-old Arzan Apa.
