Aigine CRC is starting to implement the project “Digital Journey to ICH of Kyrgyzstan”. The project is supported by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Fund of UNESCO. The overall objective is to establish an interactive multimedia digital platform (website) of ICH elements with comprehensive information on the 2003 Convention, ICH communities, active stakeholders, safeguarding activities and audio/visual materials. Digital catalog of meditations in the framework of the partnership project Soltec and Aigine

Seminar on local indicators of climate change
On March 25th, 2023 Aigine CRC researchers conducted a seminar on local indicators of climate change that brought together participants from Bishkek and Ysyk-Kul region. The participants learned how to map local indicators of climate change as well as local adaptive strategies. The Aigine CRC researches also presented the results of the field study on local indicators of climate change that was undertaken in the Ysyk-Kul province in January and February 2023. A seminar was led by Aibek Samakov, the coordinator of the initiative group.

Today, March 23, the Aigine CRC team took part in the third seminar for safeguarding ICH in the Asia-Pacific Research region. The seminar was organized by the International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (IRCI).
