Today, May 30, a zoom meeting of Aigine CRC with representatives of the International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (IRCI) took place. The meeting discussed the next cycle of collecting a research database within the framework of the project “Sustainable Research Data Collection for ICH Safeguarding in the Asia-Pacific Region”. In 2021, Aigine CRC, as a regional partner of IRCI, began to form a research database on ICH in Kyrgyzstan. This year, with the involvement of national partners, the data collection process will continue.

Meeting of the Working Group
Today, 4 May 2022, the working group on a geographically more balanced representation of accredited NGOs under the 2003 UNESCO Convention met with accredited NGOs in the African Region. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issue of the underrepresentation of ICH NGOs in the Forum and consider possible ways to attract more NGOs for accreditation.
