Working meetings
On March 24, an online meeting of the co-chairs of the Working Group on the geographically balanced representation of regions, formed at the Forum of Accredited NGOs, took place. The forum operates under the International Committee for the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. Matti Hakamäki from Finland and Cholponai Usubalieva-Grischuk discussed and agreed on the details of the program of the general meeting of the Forum members, which will take place next week.

On 13 March 2022 Cholponai UG represented as a guest speaker and delivered a presentation on Safeguarding of Practices and Rare Rituals Related to Sacred Sites in Kyrgyzstan implemented in 2018-2020 with the support of the International Assistance program of the UNESCO ICH Fund. Aigine CRC’s project was selected as one of the best examples of community-based inventorying of ICH. Meeting of the UNESCO Evaluation Committee
The first joint online meeting of the Evaluation Committee of the Intergovernmental Committee of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage took place on Wednesday 23 February. It was attended by 12 international experts and the Secretariat of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
