On July 18, an online meeting of the a Peer Review Advisory Panel took place. Peer Review Advisory Panel for the UNESCO Living Heritage Entity on safeguarding measures and good practices that address the risk of decontextualization and over-commercialization of intangible cultural heritage. The aim is to help develop guidance on this issue, as requested by the Intergovernmental Committee of the 2003 Convention in 2019. Developing Digital Cultural Resources Management System
Yesterday, on July 18, the Aigine CRC team met with representatives of the Asia Culture Center (ACC) from the Republic of Korea. The ACC Center, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan, is starting a project “Developing Digital Cultural Resources Management System”. ICH NGO Forum's activities during the 9th session of the General Assembly
On July 5, 2022 Aigine CRC represented by Cholponai U-G took part and delivered a presentation at the ICH NGO Forum’s seminar on Good Safeguarding Practices for Human Security. The seminar was organized as a side event during the 9th session of the General Assembly of the States Parties to the Convention for 2003 Convention at UNESCO Headquarters, Paris. Meeting of the Evaluation Body under the 2003 UNESCO Convention
Aigine CRC took part in the work of the Evaluation Body (EB) under the Intergovernmental Committee for the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) from 19 to 26 June 2022, Paris. The purpose of the meeting is to make agreed decisions on the nomination files submitted by countries that have ratified the 2003 Convention.
